Love it!
I admire your creativity! Few years ago you brought a tiny plastic toy dinosaur to our camera club meeting. Everyone had such fun photographing it. I still enjoy those images. |

I tried to manipulate the image with PS AI features (even with the low res image posted) . . . it's not perfect - but I'm always amazed at what's possible with few clicks. I realize this remains controversial - and cropping would be another option. |

WOW - seems Dahlia shows are more common that i would have guessed! I agree with your comment that including some leaves/greenery would give the flower a better/more natural vibe; unfortunately I couldn't find a way to do that. I suppose I could have totally changed the background to some blurred greenery. Appreciate your suggestions! |

Love that warm golden light. Good that you didn't blow out the highlights; that happens so often with the sun reflecting off water. Agree with Susan that the people are too small to have much impact. At first I thought they were birds! Clearly nothing that you could have controlled. |

Always enjoy your vineyard images! The grapes are the primary subject - so I think it works that the people are out of focus. We can easily make out what they are doing - they don't need to be sharp. Grapes at the very bottom of the frame are not in focus - I find that distracting. Perhaps crop up slightly - to ensure that the foreground grapes are tack sharp. The grapes getting thrown into the container at the top - are a bit odd - kind of hanging in the air. I might have preferred an image with them in the man's hands. Also. - to my eye the quality of the out of focus areas isn't as pleasing as you could have captured with a conventional camera. |

I haven't seen a dog picture that I don't like! Nice profile shot. Agree with Jack that the pumpkin distracts (hard to correct) and the lettering on the bottom pulls my gaze as I try to make out what it says. The t-shirt is perfect. Part of me would have rather had the dog looking into the camera. Perfect image to get us in the Halloween mood. |

Nice image - great Fall color scheme. I like the detail in the butterfly. Agree with Jack that the fabric background suggests the image is staged.
Did the butterfly leave on its own? Or was it at the end of it's lifespan? |

Your image is beautiful - recent scenes from Asheville are horrific. I always thought of Asheville as a destination "safe" from the havoc of Mother Nature.
The sky/colors are perfect and the image is sharp. The golfers/golf carts are a bit of a distraction and pull my gaze away from the landscape.
Agree with Jack that there is a vertical strip on the right that looks washed out; not sure why. On film - I would have thought about some artifact related to processing. With digital - I have no explanation. |

Perfect. The rest of the frame leaves no doubt that she is high in the sky - and her face conveys fear. I don't need to see her details to know that! |

Kudos to you and your wife for taking a somewhat ordinary scene and visualizing the beauty in it! The portrait orientation works well with the repeating vertical tree trunks. I like your edits. What do you think the camera locked focus on? To my eye - the image isn't as sharp as I would have expected given the scene/settings? |

Beautiful and relaxing scene. I can almost hear the water. The B&W works well. Sharp image - good details. To my eye it's relatively flat in terms of lighting snd contrast. I might have tried to make it a little more dramatic - but that's personal preference and I can see how such a serene scene would be presented with a relatively small range of tones. |

PERFECT timing, Not my kind of ride. The face is such a small part of the image - however it grabs our gaze and makes the story. Well done. |

Dreamy image. Love the effect. Glad the bird cooperate! Lots of interesting layers. Mono works well! |

Nice leading limes. Might consider editing so the brightest part of the path is in the distance and darker in the foreground. That would help lead the eyes into the image. |

Your family is lucky to have a resident photographer . . . and you are lucky to have a beautiful model! I like the way the tracks lead to Isla - and I can feel a bit unbalanced as I look at her walk along the track. The B&W works well! One suggestion might be to slightly brighten her (a quarter stop) - and use a linear gradient to significantly darken the upper part of the image (example attached). Right now the bright spot above her head pulls my gaze away from her . . . and the bright sky leads me out of the image. |
