Hi Stephen, there's nothing to say about your edit, you did a good job; but I wish there was a little more space at the top and the sky is a bit grainy. I use PS for sky replacement and don't know others; but you can google free tools. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Bill, as you can imagine, photographers always look for the natural light and f-stop regulates the amount of light. A small aperture e.g. f25 will let in less light so it would take longer time for the same quantity of light to pass through the sensor. Besides, it requires longer exposure time that can cause blur and higher ISO to digitally brighten the photo. Nevertheless, smart cameras will certainly do their best; but photographers chase the natural light and you could choose larger aperture e.g. f11 - f16 here so you won't need to slow down shutter speed and increase ISO. Take care, stay safe. |

It's an extraordinary modern architecture and I like the cantelivered levels. I agree with Haru about toning. Thanks for sharing. |

Your question has no rational answer; cuz, life is not equal for everyone. I got a taxi before lockdown and driver was a commercial airline pilot. God Bless the World. Thanks Stephen. |

Hi Trevor, I enjoyed both color & bnw versions; but wood texture is truly impressive and eye-catching in bnw. You edited well, black and grey tones make image mysterious. Nevertheless, I have to ask why you cropped from left and did you really need 10 stop ND filter; f11 is ok, but 30 sec expo looks a bit long. Thanks for sharing. |

Amazing ruin, great bnw conversion except grainy sky. Regarding exif; even if it was a handheld shot, f25 looks a bit radical choice. Your edit style in PS is ok. Thanks for sharing Bill. |

Istanbul was 30C yesterday. We entered a full lockdown till May 17th and wish all the best for the summer. With your photo, I remember my Lappish days when I was working in Finland and Sweden. Being a sun country, we don't have extreme amount of snow in West Turkey. Regarding your post; Shooting angle has selected wisely. During bnw conversion, bluish snow turned into grayish snow so may I suggest to increase contrast a bit and brighten the whites? Besides, color-passings give us a sharper view in original copy which must be re-sharpened in grayscale. Thanks for sharing Arne. |

Hi Haru, the beauty of nature tells about peace, quiet serenity and joy of living. Colors are meant to attract and cause things to catch our attention; but bnw photos speak to us. Your bnw work has a good amount of tonal contrast; but I suggest you to add some detail and lighten the grassy field. Thanks for sharing. |
