G Series are semi-professional -very successful- cameras of Canon which I've used G9 till 2010. Good job Stephen. |

I'm a hobbyist of rusty harbor chains and mooring ropes, too Stephen. There are some sample photos in my gallery on Instagram. Is this a cellphone shot? Sharp enough; contrast, highlight, shadow levels are satisfactory. Thanks for sharing. |

I always think that Black & White Nature Photography is really an extraordinary attempt which I couldn't dare yet. Let me firstly comment on your color copy: Diffused light, color passing between tones at golden hour are really impressive. Your natural model, Ms Albizia looks great and only a leopard resting in the branches is missing:) Regarding your b&w image, it is much more mysterious and I dream vultures sitting on tree-top. Grey tones give same effect as yellow tones. Both sharp enough and invite us to grasslands. Probably, you used 400 mm prime f5,6 and I only wonder if sun was the reason to set 1/1500 Thanks for sharing Ying. |

I always like nature in color; but your bnw conversion is also amazing David. Narrow aperture at 90 mm grants you depth-of-field which looks great and sharp enough. Black background calls our attention to mushrooms which have interesting shape and hope not poisonous! I agree with Arne that the black dots could be removed in Photoshop. Thanks for sharing. |

Great statue and you worked hard Arne. I have no any info about Infinite Black and White app yet; but I'm going to check. Center-weighted brightness attracts attention on sailor standing in the middle. Apart of colors, bnw version is totally different than color version so I do not want to comment on your ps adjustments as you're the artist of your photo; but you can tell us the story of bulb speed exposure and 10-Stop filter usage here. Thanks for your sharing. |

Thanks for your re-edit Stephen. As you can imagine, photo and its story must be in a harmony and your crop looks so dramatic! Besides, cropping below the elbow does not look good and usual. I wanted to show flat insoles to support the story and the image. But on the other hand, you're absolutely right on closer view and I had already posted some cropped samples on IG. |

It's definitely an art Angela which I can add to my potential style list on photography e.g. Astro Photography, Milky Way and Wild Life. Your efforts are really appreciated to show us a masterpiece. Nevertheless, I like original image more as the beauty of cobalt blue drops and turquoise splash are really magnificent. Impressive editing & bnw conversion. Well-done Angela. Thanks for sharing. |

Tilting screen is great for these shots, you don't have to kneel down. I can imagine, it's not an easy frame; but you're right to crop wall at the left. Regarding your edit, -compared to original- contrast look a bit high. Thanks for sharing Bill. |

Amazing garden, impressive landscape architecture; it's definitely an art Haru. I'm totally agree with you not to crop more. Frankly speaking, -even if you worked hard on tones & shadows- I prefer nature in color; but your bnw conversion is also satisfactory. Meanwhile, relatively blurred waterfall could come forward depending higher aperture and lower shutter speed; but I don't know what happens to sharpness on leaves if weather is windy:) Well-done Haru, thanks for sharing. |
