If we focus on her face; she's definitely not thinking sales, but home and family maybe. As you also said, Sinan Pasha Complex is located in a most crowded tourist area between Beyazit and Sultanahmet Mosques. Old ladies are generally sell their handmade knitted items on the streets next to mosques, tombs etc. Regarding exif; I would prefer higher aperture and crop just after shopping bag on wheels or after the impressive door. It's a 400 years old building and modern-look Info Tower in mid is really an unwanted element for photographers. We're missing crowded streets, travelling and nature. God performed a hard reset to humanity and nothing will be same after the damned virus! We will start again with permanent masks, face protection shields and disinfectant sprays! Take care of yourself and family Arun. Greetings from Istanbul, 60th day in lockdown. |

Coronavirus is totally under control in Turkey, thanks to our Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board and Ministry of Health. All schools, shopping malls, cinemas, restos, cafes etc are closed since the beginning. All airports are closed for int'l flights. There are travel restrictions from/to local big cities. Below 20 - Over 65 not allowed to go out 7/24 since March. There's a curfew on the weekends in metropolitan cities. Probably, these restrictions will continue till mid-june and are going to be lifted slowly as it may give the risk of a second wave! We won't travel this year to save our lives and prevent overwhelming public health system. Thanks Stephen. Hope to see you next year summer in Turkey. |

Hi Stephen, bamboo ladders are both solid and decorative. There is too much space at the top half of the photo and it would be better if you took feet of people and street into frame. Stay home stay safe my friend. |

BNW photos are always effective to reflect history and art so you're right to convert color to bnw. Stone lions carved on the railings are impressive. Chinese art is great. In color photo, is it a tire mark on footpath? Luckily disappeared in bnw version. Thanks for sharing Ying. |

Great wildlife photo and well-cropped Angela. Speed raised ISO and I agree with Arne that the white area could a bit darker. Haru is also right, color tones against snow produce contrast and reflect reality better. |

BNW version is definitely more impressive than color one. Sharp enough and I just want to say: Entrance of the building is really sumptuous like windows and you could shoot few seconds ago to take door into frame and this emphasizes her leaving from the hotel. |

One of important detail I remember from the 60s is our steam train trips to get from East Turkey to the West, 2.5 days! Surely missing those beautiful days! God Bless our children. Thanks Bill. |

Clouds, rocks, sea and stairs are in a harmony and the gray tones have definitely added peaceful mystery. Arne is right that you could reduce contrast a bit. Beautiful land & seascape and -frankly speaking- I dreamed long exposure shots in daylight. Well-done David. |

Yes, you're right; but this was a spy shot as she refused another photographer who had asked to take a photo in front. Thanks David. |

Old part of Istanbul e.g. Eminonu has always crowds and tourists are keen to buy hand made stuff. We went into coronavirus lockdown which began on Mar 21st and surely missing those lively days. Thanks Stephen. |

Yes, bnw tells a different story and air-bubble sheet roll was an important detail on this shot. Thanks Haru. |

Summer is in the air; sunny days, bloom-filled gardens, parks and we are under coronavirus lockdown / quarantine! Flower beauty gives us hope in these difficult times. Thank you for sharing Haru. Stay home stay safe. |
