Gary - striking - and very nice - One can always find something that "they" would want to change or tweak on an image, the question as to thoughts on how to improve - switch to Nikon! Seriously now, I enjoy panoramas and think this would be stunning as a 15x30 metal print - not high gloss but a light stain finish or even larger. Very nice. |

Ian - Hello and good to see your images. Nice shot and love the 20 second to get the smoothness of the water. I think I would have done more with the sky to give more contrast and moodier - Very disappointed in the footprints in the right foreground - I would have thought you would have had a rake and smoothed out the sand - HA HA. And I like the opening of the water going from lower left and curving out - good composition - except the footprints - next time. Good shot. |

Raymond - I live on the west coast (California) and my wife's 3 sisters live in Roade Island. I would love to go to Acadia NP some time.
The image is wow! Very nice. |

Butch - cool rainbow - very fortunate. And the Saguaros in the foreground are cool. I have a better idea where you live.
I would have opened up the foreground a bit even though it is in the shadow of a mountain. I think it is a keeper - 36x24 metal print on the wall. |

Sherry - I want to go there as I know several who have been but not in the city. Are you still lugging around that tank of a camera? As long as mine works, I willl never get rid of it event though I have two mirrorless bodies.
Annnnnnyway - The sky is great and no contrails from jets - the city - lots of red roofs - that is cool and well, I am really not a city scape person - But love the sky. |

Butch - Thank you for the input. On a personal note I never do vignetting. Was told by a famous wildlife and landscape photographer years ago that if the image cannot stand on its own. don't try to fake it. So I do not do the vignetting.
I appreciate the other suggestions and see how they could add more drama - Thank You |

Ginny - I agree scrub jays are fun as well as all the jays - they have character.
I want to understand - the entire background is a bit dark and yet the jay is well lit. How did this happen?
Anyway, cute little guy or gal - nice. |

Very cool and I agree nice environmental shot as you can see the habitat that the elk lives in. I see you indicated that you took down the highlights a bit - my eye goes straight to the ground and I think the whole image could be toned down a bit on exposure - Snow on the peaks - where cool. |
