73 Aug 25 Comment Butch - Just looking at your image first before reading, I thought either Canadian geese or Snd Hill Cranes, both are common in Lodi California. The sun rise is great and striking.
Have gotten up at O dark thirty or hiked in the day before and stayed overnight for a sunrise of sunset shot. I appreciate the effort and challenges that go into our passion. 		Aug 27th
73 Aug 25 Comment Sherry - Yes, the memories, and if you think about it that is what a lot of photography is all about.
Cropping the sky is a good suggestion and I might add that if you pumped the yellows a bit the trees would stand out a bit more. Very nice.
