Gary - you are correct that it takes a bit of time to find the right place and then the composition as opposed to just taking a picture. Then there is the challenge of exposure - you did great.
I agree on the left crop, then I am thinking of what would this look like as a pano???? - I know, HaHa, but it would be another challenge. |

Peter - an amazing shot. Strong foreground and the band of cloud in the sky - very cool. Great timing.
We know it is a lighthouse - kinda wish I could see a bit more water. Otherwise the colors and with the beam of light over the landscape - very nice. |

Ian - very nice - and the colors just pop. I enjoyed that you submitted two others to give the feeling of the evening.
The water is great and the street lamps highlights are well done. The balance in your choosing your ISO and shutter speed worked out. By the way, what was your ISO & Shutter speed?
Just a bit curious - you have stated that you are a certified REBEL - Looking towards seeing that. |

Butch - very nice and I like the layers - using a big lens you captured that sun with the Saguaro's and I believe Ocotillo? Very cool.
I have plans of going to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in August - hopefully will get some monsoons - Nice shot. |

OMG! The lighting is great and the colors spatular! The clarity of the clouds to the rocks is wonderful. This is defiantly a wall print. |
