Suggestion - all the background is distracting and if you have the opportunity to get at ground level - try it and let me know what you think. I know getting down may not be an issue, as opposed to getting back up. Dec 11th

Since I was not there, was the ice that dark? It appears that the light is coming from the top and was low.

Yes a different lens would have helped, but we all know that there are times that it is not practical. Interesting shot. 		Dec 11th
89 Dec 24 Comment Marina - wow nice shot. The woodpecker is tack sharp and the resolution is amazing.
