73 Jul 24 Reply Butch - As much as I appreciate your suggestion of getting lower, there is a distinct possibility that I might still be there now! Getting lower is usually not a problem, but getting back up, UGH. You are correct I should have gotten a bit lower. Jul 30th
73 Jul 24 Comment Sherry - I love the expanse of the image and the clouds just add to the entire image. Defiantly an environmental story - I like it. Jul 30th
73 Jul 24 Comment Butch - great shot and the colors are wonderful. The white line is so close to the top of the wooden structure - wish you had a step stool to get a bit higher.
Your exposure rocks and it is a great shot.
I belong to two camera clubs as well. One is mostly social and there is no drive for anyone getting better. The other is the older camera club in California and there is a focus on competitions and education to help others get better.

We had seal I say a bit of controversy about two years ago on what is real - Bottom line a person submitted a great sunrise shat with a full moon (larger than real life) just a few inches above the sunrise. Created some issues as to what is real vs fake. Or real vs illustrative - possibly more discussion later - great shot!

73 Jul 24 Comment Gary I have beeb there and took photos - in this situation I do not have tat ability to show or demonstrate that will all that is going on, water is moving or maybe some photos are best expressed as a video??????? Definitely challenge - I think you dis=d well. Jul 25th
73 Jul 24 Comment Not sure I want to replace the lightbulbs very creative and you captured that effectively.Very cool shot. Jul 25th
73 Jul 24 Comment Dahananjay - this is a shot that I could out uo a lounge chair and just watch the day go by. very lovely. Jul 25th
73 Jul 24 Reply Ian - thank you - yes there beginning of recovery often times is very quick - weeks - and as much devastation that takes place, rebirth is just as exciting Jul 25th
73 Jul 24 Reply I just thought a pano does a better job of giving the viewer a button experience in the view. Yes I did thank some individual shots to show a closer view of a few trees, but I thought they lacked the expansive story. Jul 12th

89 Jul 24 Reply Marian - you are so right about just watching the interaction. I have bird feeders and water out on my deck and I just get so immersed in watching or for that mater in the field, but mosquitos are still a bummer. Jul 24th
89 Jul 24 Reply Debby I tried blowing up the original image to see the bands but it Dows get pixolated - It would be fun to see if this guy has a history. Jul 24th
89 Jul 24 Comment Dhananjay Excellent shot, I like the bubbles, the background is soft, texture of the feathers is great - sharp image. Not sure I would crop the top as it gives me a sense of place, but try it, it may work for you. Jul 24th
89 Jul 24 Comment Stephanie - beautiful bird. The eye ring nice and sharp and the colors are striking. I agree on the background lighting, regardless great shot. Jul 24th
89 Jul 24 Comment Debby - well now, has your heart and breathing calmed down from this experience? I know the rush one gets from getting a shot like this - exciting!
Yes the image is a bit soft, but you did a good job of bring out a tough lighting condition. I presume this was handheld? of so you did a good job for the conditions you were in. I agree on the foreground as well.

89 Jul 24 Comment Marina - wow! very nice. I agree about the two sticks - easy fix. For fun, I might crop some of the top and add a bit more orange luminosity - great shot. Jul 24th
89 Jul 24 Comment Bob, Very cool and yes, the eye of the fish is saying that the sis not a good day. The capture is spot on and the Skimmer is sharp - good job. Jul 24th
