73 Dec 23 Comment Gary - way cool! I know duh, I like the lines very nice, but not crazy about leading right at me. Could you have stepped more to the left? that way the leading line might be shifted more to the right and you would have gotten more of the ice on the right - or do a pano. Great image. Dec 29th

OK, so yes it is true that I am not there, but I was wondering if you could have moved more to the left?
I think I would have cropped on the left side and opened up the shadows a bit - anyway very cool shot and I almost maybe want to go their. 		Dec 29th
73 Dec 23 Comment Ian, Love the colors in the sky and the reflection. The sky is defiantly the story and you did a great job in placing the sky and minimizing the foreground. Although I understand the idea of vignetting, I am not a fan of doing, just me. Very nice image. Dec 29th

Question - did you only take the one shot? Why I ask is it would be interesting to see the truck shot a bit before the shadow or after? Just a thought. Otherwise very nice shot. 		Dec 29th

89 Dec 23 Comment Bill - cool shot and interesting pose. I have taken many shots of various birds etc that are, in my opinion, just shots of birds etc. This is not to say poo poo to yours, but over the past few years I have been trying to focus on some behavior.
On another thought, on the topic of ethics, I am not convinced editing out, which is easier to do today as opposed to a few years ago, that is where nature photographers want to go?
Yes, I agree on the cropping as the bird is centered in the image -
