Vinay - Welcome to the group -
Il love the texture, the shadows and the undulating hills of sand - sand dunes taken in low angle light are great. At first I thought this was a shot of the White Sands National Park in New Mexico, USA then read your description, they are that white as well.
For me, the center sand dune is to centered and would like to see it off centered - and I find the background a bit distracting - so here is what I did, cropped, adjusted highlights and whites and added a bit of yellow. Just a suggestion - |

Peter - stark, city life, part of the underground - very interesting perspective and as a part of a cities underground way of life very telling. I like the rail lines leading you to the unknown - and then there is the upper part of the image showing the city life - very nice image. I might have shown a tad more of the upper and less of the lower, then again the rail lines do lead your eye to the underground - nice job |

Ian - very strong image - from front with the rocks as an anchor to the clouds in the background. I asked Dhananjay if he has tried long exposures with sea shore shots as I have not and I am not wanting to explore that. I have done streams and waterfalls bit no ocean- beach shots.
I like the strong foreground and the swirl of the water - very nice. |

Dhananjay - I enjoy this part of California - the clips and the ocean and you got there when the light was great. Strong composition and great lighting. I could see this as a 36x24 metal print.
Have you ever tried using a strong ND filter and go for a longer exposure to get the water to go flat? Just asking as I have wanted to try it. |

Sherry - UGH all that rain - but I am soooooo disappointed that you didn't pull out your 14mm, switch lenses and take that shot in the rain.
Very nice and it is peaceful shot - The horizon line is about 50/50 so I might crop a bit from the bottom otherwise for a iPhone shot it is very nice. I think the position of the rainbow is great - how did you plan that?? Very nice. |

Sherry - I was thinking of you and my sister-in-law who live in Florida especially watching on TV houses falling into the ocean - glad you are alright.
The photo - not one of my best, but it is interesting and I just thought I would share.
Take care

Marian - Thank you - I had been advised to go with converters with the same lens as opposed to off brand - NO REGRETS. The research I did was the quality using the Nikon 1.4 with the 400 f2.8 lens was better than the 500mm by itself, again, no regrets even with the weight.
Crop - I wanted it to be square but your correct - thank you |

Adrienn - Please do not get me wrong, as I said it is a great shot - My suggestion is to stay with this image and see what others have to say about it and as you look at the other members images you will have more of an idea what to submit next month. |

Dhananjay I like the framing like looking through a window - very cool and then the added bonus of the fall colors. Part of me wants the foreground to be in focus - maybe f11? The red leaves are so cool and I wish we have colors like that out her in the western part of California - lucky guy. |

Bill - love the silky waterfall - and foreground nice and sharp. I might have walked over and taken out the log on the left - just kidding - then again I might have cropped the image or maybe stood a bit more to the left if that was possible. I like the horizontal position of where the water is falling into the pond - very nice image. |

Bob - Interesting shot of the tree frog - you can see how he is attaching himself or herself to the reed. I do see light refection on parts of the skin as well as the background on the right - agree, flash a bit too strong. As far as showing some behavior - well I guess that's it for a tree frog. |

Adrienn - What a cool shot - I like the way the boardwalk comes out into the water - very nice shot. I agree that the theme does not fit our group as nature, but it is very cool shot. |
