Tom, for me, it was like I died and gone to heaven. As far as my travels in the west the Tetons, for me, are a magnificent mountain win range. I could live with here. Then there is the the Sierra back country - way to many places and not enough time |

Great shot - wonderful colors and the evening she is very striking with the moon. And then there is the light in the lighthouse - very nice! I see you sued a tripod and with the tremendous exposure difference the lighthouse has to much dark on the bottom for me. Not sure if you can select the lighthouse and bring out some of the detail with the foreground or just crop the bottom.
I did the edit in Lightroom and opened the shadows, adjusted the sky a bit and then cropped and then ran it through DeNoise. It is just a suggestion
A lower shutter speed would help with the noise.

Great mood and you can see the storm coming - the rain on the left very cool and then a peak of bright shy - nice.
It would be interesting to use the subject selection in Lightroom and see if it would pick up the trees. I would be inclined to lighten them a tad - not much - just curious to see how that would look.
Very nice image |

I have the D850 for landscape ant wildlife. The Z is for sports. My wife might have an issue if I wanted the Z9. Ha ha |

As usual nice shot and very colorful bird. Stuart's suggestion is good but I would have cropped the top to take away that bright spot and move the bird up a bit off horizontal center. The branch shows the habitat and I might crop a bit on the left without putting the subject dead center.
Yes the beak is a concern
Very nice soft background - what a cute bird!!! |

Great portrait image - nice and tight and tack sharp. The lighting is very nice - you nailed this one.
I use the Z6II for sports and not disappointed going mirrorless. |

Very cool action shot and I like the wings displayed as he is striking. I wish I could have seen the full reflection and the top of the heron. The pylon on the left is not adding to the actual photo as the subject is clearly the heron.
Colors are fantastic, tack sharp and I like the fact that you caught him with his beak just on the verge of touching the water - very cool.

Very striking and soft background. The dragonfly is tack sharp and well exposed. Your subject is about dead center within the frame and I might cropping the top down to about 1/2 way to off center your subject.
Very nice shot. |

Bob - great shot. Sharp and adequate DOF considering this is a macro shot. Colors are great. As far as focus - you got the subject.
I presume that at 1/1000 second this was handheld. Have you tried photo stacking?
Very nice |

Just about typical around the globe. Interesting documentation image. I wold have like to seen the image cropped up to the white rocks. The rocks being brighter my eye goes right to them and not the tree in the background.
Also you did not provide camera, settings, tripod or handheld etc. |

Dhananjay - thank you, had such a great time not sure I want to be back - but here I am. It was a challenging shot and I have others to look at. |
