Great shot.
the detail is superb and having 36 mega pixels is a big advantage. The soft light - gosh very nice image.

I have seen a number of images from converted DSLR's to infrared, infant I was considering doing that with one of my older camera bodies but just never pulled the trigger.
I like what infrared does and the sky if suburb with the clouds. My only suggestion would to tone down the area of the top of this hill just a bit and include more of the tree on the right. |

The ruins add a focal point that begins to lead the viewer to the top of the image of the lake - nicely done. The drone part I need some time to get my head into it - if find that they do allow another perspective to photography and that you are now afforded opportunities that never existed - like any of the BBC Planet Earth series.
Color of the lake is awesome - good job. |

I like the image and the softness that your concerned with is not an issue with me on my screen. Yes f16 would have been better - next time.
From the appearance or positioning of the image it appears that you are shooting down. I would have liked it (and I do not know if you could) that the image was closer to the ground level.
Another consideration is that the image looks like it was taken mid day as opposed to early morning or late afternoon during the golden hour.
question - The Fuji X-T1, is that a 16 MP camera? That may be the reason why some of the softness - not completely sure - just a thought. |

Very nice shot - shows the landscape and fishing boats, great reflections and red roof's not over done.
Switch from left to right - you are absolutely correct that the letters would flip and then there would be something else to point out that was just not right. I think the image is great the way it is and have difficult time listening to judges who make comments like flipping the image so it reads from left to right thinking that the entire world should accommodate them - not.
I might consider cropping the top as so much clouds is not doing much to add to the image, otherwise nice shot. |

I cropped it for 16x20 format to sell at $250. Sold 3 in a year. |

Nice sharp shot. There are two ways to go with this image. The first is that you show the bird within its environment and you did that and it works for me. the second is a portrait shot and since there is no "behavior" going on it is basically a photo of a bird, and that does not work for me as much as the environmental one.
Yes you could do all the plugin stuff or probably open up the shadows on the bird and give the eye a bit more light.
Background - could be a bit darker - your call and crop on the right. |

Nice portrait shot and great soft background. You said that there was a blind specifically set up to attract the vultures. Were they baited? How were they attracted to this site? |

Interesting shot of the frog. I feel the same way about vignetting, if the image can not stand alone without vignetting then it is not a good image.
Background is soft and the frog looks sharp - might increase the shadows on the frog a bit. |
