I have heard the sound of the loons only once and it was so cool and I am sure that was a special treat while you were there.
The God beams are stunning and capturing the clouds and thee colors great job. I agree that the image appears to be tilted a bit - straighten that out and you got a real winner |

You have demonstrated an important concept in photography and that is planning. Very nice composition and yes it would have been a stronger image if you had taken a step or two to the right.
I really like the lighting in the trees and the blossoms. Very nice image! |

Now I understand why there were no clouds in Southern California that day, they were in your area for a great shot!
I like the 4 second exposure giving the water movement, texture. The foreground rocks are sharp as well as thee distant and your were able to bring out the shadows very nicely compared to the original.
I wonder what you'r histogram showed when you took thee photo, was there any clipping on the highlights? |

What a kick in the pants - great shot! The diagonal pattern is cool and very creative. I am not ready to invest in a drone as yet but they do give a different perspective. |

I feeeeeeeel the pain.
I agree with Ian, bringing out thee shadows would help. The reflection is awesome.
What software are you using for post processing?
Did you crop the image? The horizon line (shore line) appears to be centered and I would have given more room at the top.
Nice image and great timing to get both the reflection and sky. |

The sky makes the image. I find my eye going straight to lights in the walkway and then to the car at the base of the center lights. I think I would have cloned out the car with the headlights.
The stone wall is veery cool and gives a person a sense that this has been here for a long time.
After studying thee image some I believe that those dots are flowers from some vegetation that is growing in the cracks of the stone wall.
Nice image and am sure you have a great time over there. |

Thank you for your input and we both agree that the lights are distracting. I probably could take out the headlights of the car in photoshop and agree they're distracting, unfortunately I am currently unmotivated and that sums it up.

I guess it is just you and I this month.
Nice capture and image sharp with the feet on the water. Does look like there was a bird to the right that is disturbing the water in front.
Not sure I agree with the feeding of the ducks to get the shot.
Great reflection and you stopped the action with a high enough shutter speed. |
