When I arrived at the location I must say it was a bit exciting to see so much water without a ripple. I could have shot this with my 14-24 but I felt the mountains would have been pushed back further and then cropping it to a pano I would have lost resolution. So I went for the pano shot shooting a bit larger as I wanted to get the reflection in the water and the sky. I struggled with cropping the sky but that would have made the horizon line more centered and the clouds over the Tetons was so very nice.
Anyway that was some of my though process. OH and within just a few minutes of taking the shot, the water became rippled.

Nice pleasing image I just want to sit by the stream and kickback. I felt that the left was a bit busy for me so I cropped it on the left and a bit on top giving more focus on the stream and rock. It is really a matter of what a person thinks. Trying a long exposure to get the dreamy water movement would be a challenge since so much of the image is in daylight. A ND filter would have taken out a lot of the reflections and slowed down the shutter speed along with stopping down to 16.

Great shot - a lot of mood and intensity with the patterns in the sand - you did a great job on this one. I might have tried a pano 1:2 or 1:3 to get more expanse for fun. Regardless this is very nice.

What a fun image seeing the streaks of snow falling with he snow on the ground. Just FYI wee have had 49 inches of snow this season and after 16 years of living where we do I still am not tired of it.
I wish I could have seen a bit more of the walkway going up as more of a leading line. Exposure well done as the snow is white and collecting on the tree branches on both sides of the walkway. Pleasant shot.

The clouds made the image. Good capture. I might have burned a bit of the white of the mountain on the left a bit it looks a bit bright and would have tilted the image a bit to the left so the vertical lines in the foreground look more vertical.
Great shadows and transition of colors well captured. You captured the ruggedness and texture of the landscape well.

You nailed this one! Sun burst and the light on the water awesome. Exposure well done. I put a piece of paper to block out some of the foreground and I like that as well - something to think about. Great job.

Envy! I would love to have taken a trip like that. Someday.
Ski nice and blue and clouds are well exposed with great definition. Sailboat nicely places and and enjoying the long light rays on the mountains. Since the sail boat appears to be moving from left to right you have plenty of room on the right for movement. I think the boat is to centered and cropping just left of the second sail boat would make thee image more interesting.
Now this is an image that you could put on a wall in the house and something that every time you saw it would give you fond memories.

I will try it but I think it's tricky to not make the Tetons disproportional for those who know the mountain range.

Really like the sun burst. I might have opened the shadows more but then again I like the contrast between the snow and the trees. Looking at it again I cold go the other way and darken the shadows a bit making it Moree of a silhouette. I know it is a matter of preference - anyway just a thought. Good call in changing it to monochrome.

What a fun and challenging shot. The gills of the mushroom. I know it is a balancing act between having too much or not enough DOF. Did you take any other shots with different DOF?
Anyway again what a fun and challenging shot - I am going to try one.
