I have not been to Devils Tower but I can imagine it is the same as photographing Yosemite Valley and trying something different is great.

The clouds look a bit flat. I might put the image in photoshop and try selecting the sky as a layer and try to do something there. I like the foreground and I think that adds perspective - open up the shadows a bit -

Now I will read what others have said - Ok, others made similar suggestions and I agree about moving the tower your of center.

Nice contrast of the snow and red cabin - that is a good eye. The snow is white and maybe a bit over - what did your histogram show? The movement of the water is nice and it flows from the right to left - nice.

I might open the shadows a bit and check the histogram on the snow - So now that I have read what the others have said - up in the mountains of Southern California we get snow and so far this year 49 inches - yes the daffodils are on the verge of blooming but I am going to miss the snow as we head towards spring.

Nice shot and like the vertical position - it matches the falls and the water. I like that you didn't do to. much on the exposure and the water it feels right as there is not a lot of water flowing.

The grass in the middle is a bit distracting - and I wish the foreground rocks had a bit more saturation. The reflection in the pool is very nice.

I might have backed off a bit to maybe around 100mm and gotten more of the pool.

Now I will read what everyone else has commented. I agree with Janos about the bottom being more interesting - but what can you do.

I am basing my comments without reading what has been posted so far and what you posted. I might have cropped in a 2x3 format from the bottom up, feels overwhelming a bit for me.

Love the golden color almost impressionistic kinda cool. So you'r going back in July. Are you going on a tour, by yourself?

Very nice - love the colors and the timing of the sun great. Never been to Pittsburg, I guess I am not a city guy - that's ok.

Back to your shot - clouds and the steam coming from one of the buildings sharp and the cars on the bottom right sharp - sun burst between the buildings very nice.

I enjoy this, peaceful, warm colors and it could easily be on a wall she were over a couch - big space 2x3 feet or bigger - good job.

I got frustrated with using a supersede lens for landscape, unless I had something on the ground as an anchor that would draw the viewer in. Another issue was when I look at the landscape I can see somewhere around 120 degrees and yes probably focusing on 90 degrees so when you have these expansive landscapes I adopted the 3-5 images and sticking them together. Up side great images, down side a lot of memory used.

Nice reflection, snow looks white and properly exposed. The image horizon is in the middle and some wold say you should either have sky or land dominant but in this case it feels good and not an issue.
Depending on how you cropped the image it might be better to have a bit more room at the top and bottom.

I like the image a lot.

Cool shot with the rock with the beach background but I agree it does appear a bit soft. Going to Iceland is on my list of places I want to go to. The birds - I first looked at the image and thought they were spots - because they are so small, I might have taken them out.
Otherwise I think the rock is way cool.

Very nice image - goes to show that a person can be in the right place at the right time to get a great shot. I might have opened up some of the shadows a bit in the lower foreground - good capture

Cute image and nice detail of the branch. Thee image appears to have been over sharpened a bit and a loss of detail in the Black Cap. Thee catch light on the eye looks fine to me any more and it might look kinda weird. Nice soft background and no distracting elements and good positioning.

This is a nice shot and shows a nice image of the bird. I find that the background is a bit distracting. You do to share what lens you used and how close you were. The bird is sharp but I would have lightened it up a bit. As far as showing both eyes - heck, one of the greatest bird photographers Arthur Morris has images of birds facing you with both eyes as well in profiles. In either case as I have found out, you can't win.
Nice image

Cool shot and based upon your description you got a good one. Only concern I have is the one bat is a bit out of focus. Yes Not sure the rainforest is my bucket list you to me you are brave but as you said, you had fun and that's all that matters.
