73 Apr 20 Comment Nock, The mid ground is nice and like the colors in the rocks. The sky is nice but I think I would have pulled up the blue a bit in the sky and maybe cropped the foreground a bit, the white in the foreground is a bit distracting. Nice job Apr 15th

73 Apr 20 Reply The climb - if your standing at the view point, there are a bunch of (crowd) of people all standing around elbowing and making your shot not much different than anyone else. Just to the left of the exit of the tunnel there is a climb (still uphill walk) on exfoliated granite that goes up and above the tunnel. Going up was hard, coming back down was a killer on the knees. But I went up with tripod and was above everyone. Not to sure that this shot was really that different from all the others - but I made the effort. Apr 15th

73 Apr 20 Comment Sherry - nice shot and the clouds make a lot of this image pop. Yes, they appear a tad bright. Another suggestion would to take two shots (pano) and get more of the left side. Not sure I would have used a wider lens - because it would push back everything. bring up the saturation, luminosity a little - otherwise I like it Apr 15th

89 Apr 20 Comment I love the simplicity - I would not suggest any cropping. Maybe tilt the horizon a tad up on the left, but then again it would only tilt the bench more - I like it. Apr 15th

89 Apr 20 Comment The Kori is nice and sharp and looks good along with the hippo skull. Not sure but it might be better if you changed the contrast or open up the shadows a tad and bring down the highlights - I know there is no redoes and the sun looks high in the sky and you just got to take the shot. As I said the Kori is tack sharp and glad he or she poised for you. Apr 15th

89 Apr 20 Comment Very nice shot and I like the glacier and the foreground is well done. I think I would have done something to have the background and the sky (clouds) stand out a bit more. Based upon the shadows I might have used a polarizer which might have taken some of the highlights out of the glacier - Nice shot and would love to go there some day Apr 15th
