Prasad - Worthy of National Geographic in an article about the lives and habits of deer. Eating old antlers? Who knew. Nice detail in the fur, softness of the background, catchlight in the eye. Nice. |

I agree, amazing. Would you be willing to share some of the "how I did it"? |

The roots are an intriguing path into the picture. I think this has a lot of potential to be stronger. A couple of thoughts.
1. Burning in the sky area (top 1/3 of the photo) would help reduce the brightness impact of the bald sky. But, it may be hard to do. Give it a try.
2. Try cropping much of the sky out of the image if you do not like #1,
3. I think the overall image is underexposed...I think the implied "forest light" and the roots would be more mysterious and compelling (you can tell I am now "seeing and feeling" this through my eyes, not yours, proof you have captured my interest and imagination!)

Gregory,, the richness of the foreground is delicious...reflections, detail in the trees. Yum. Can you burn in the river in the background to bring out the color and detail. My eye is drawn to the light tone now and the result is it took me a moment to enjoy the foreground. |

The crisp duck (no, not a dinner choice) with the wings in motion is incredible and make for a very powerful and captivating image. The F4 and what must have been a rather slow shutter speed softens the back and foreground very nicely, making the duck "pop". Great shot. |

Keith, like Gregory, this is a lovely, peaceful image. At this time so many of us need such tranquility and this says that. I find the bright spot on the chair a bit visually intense, grabbing my eye first instead of following the lovely lead line that you have. Might burn this down a bit. The colors and the pond texture are lovely. Nicely done. |
