I can't help but look down this 'gator's throat. Great capture. Exposure and focus makes the alligator "pop" from the background. Well done. |

The composition and colors are very very strong. My eye walks from the bottom, across the frame and then zigs back to the mountain, which has the really nice dramatic sky. There is an HDR sense of the processing of the image that could be toned down a bit. It looks "too good to be real", to me, but the result is stunning. |

The softness is nice, and the soft background is really well done. Personal preference would have been to have the plane of focus be where the water drops are in the picture. This would sharpen the yellow lady slipper and softened the leaves, which are in focus now. |

Keith, the painterly flow, the blend of colors and the solid reference rock make this picture just marvelous. Being from a culture that tends to read and look left to right (there is no hope for me crossing a London street!) I wonder if this might work a bit more to my eye flowing from left to right, that is, flip the image. Beyond that wonderment, I really love this image...I mean really love it. |
