Crisp and sharp, great soft background, interesting bird. A bit static. Same subject taking off or landing would be really dynamic. |

Gregory, nice framing of the bushes, leading line of the stones, the strong sky are great. My trouble is extracting the core subject and understanding it without your informative narrate. How might this happen? |

The power of the sky is amazing. I really stopped to look at this picture. I wonder is this could be cropped and not loose to much in order to make the cliff and sailboat occupy a larger portion of the picture space. I know this is not "about" these things, but the fragile sailboat, the menacing rocks, and this powerful sky might make this fine image really make an even stronger statement. Of course, if my interpretation is not what you intended, then ignore me1 |

You didd a very nice job of framing the bridge/main subject. The leading line of the sidewalk, with the bikes leads to you main subject, , the tree branches add to the framing of the picture. Nicely done. A bit more interesting sky (a few clouds) might add to this. The light areas (e.g. the buildings) seem a bit washed out. Maybe burn them in a bit and/or up the saturation just a little. I think you could cut the foliage in half (crop from the top). You retain the framing and reduce their power since the image is about the bridge and housing.I might come in from the bottom as well, cropping some of the empty sidewalk out. I think it enhances the main subject, keeps the framing, and does not result in a loss of information about the scene. Give it a try and see what you think. |

For me it was the combination of her dress, heels, the fellow's shirt, and that she is so well dressed, obviously with care, and is having her car cared for, too. |
