This is a dried hosta leaf. Helican: export the stack to Helican (very fast), hit Render, import stacked photo! Yes, PS does the same thing, but a little more involved. A fabulous photographer friend of mine says Helican does a better job. |

No light painting. Just window light -- from multiple angles. |

Beautiful shot, wonderfully processed. Love the silky water. Nothing to suggest. |

Really fabulous image. I would wipe out the buildings behind her. The urban setting is obvious without them; and anything that distracts from the amazing subject I think should go. |

I like the version with the water brought out quite a bit. Can't think of anything I'd change. |

Fabulous capture! Maybe I would lighten the reeds just a tad -- they look a little dingy. But I do love the image. |

Image stacking is not difficult. If your camera can take multiple shots, it's even easier - I choose the lowest differential. Otherwise, you will need a rail. So, what I do: Export all these images to Helican, click Render, and viola! -- there is your stacked image. |

No, this is not stacked. Shot in the field. Had to play with the background quite a bit. The fisheye lens being an f8 makes it easier to geet things in focus. |

I actually prefer the original. It is quite lovely. I think the black is too harsh for these flowers. |

Nice image. I'm not sure the light vignette works; it pulls my eye to the corners. How would it be with a dark vignette? Also, I would greatly enhance the yellow. The pink petals are a fabulous capture. |

I really like this image. The rose is beautiful and the background is successful. My only reservation is the blur in the lower left. |

I really love this image. My only suggestion is to crop in a bit closer on the let and top. |

I guess I'm in the minority. While I normally dislike harsh shadows on flowers, I can see that that is the point with this image. However, I think they do distract from the center; my eye is constantly pulled to the left side of this image. |

The flower is very nice. I agree that the stem is too electric green. I would wipe out the background, & put it on black. Verisimilitude is not th epoint of this shot! |

I meant to say Yes, I should try a B&W version. |

I meant the real image to be the primary image, and the other as a kind of desert. No, I should try a B&W version.

I have to confess I do not like it. For me, the harsh lines destroy any delicacy the flower has; it has quite enough contrast already. |
