The three mushrooms make a interesting composition. I would have liked to see them isolated (in post), and the leaves blocking the stems removed before shooting. |

Generally speaking, flowers n full sun are too harsh. In this case, I rather like the effect -- it certainly is vivid! |

I'm in the minority. I Like the texture -- reminds me of a textile. The image does need brightening. What do you think of this? |

For my tastes, I prefer the original -- which is a very nice shot. The flower just looks too fake, to manipulated for my tastes. With just a little work in LR and PS, I think the original is a really good photo. |

I agree that the original looks "pasted on." Is there anything between the original and submitted? I think the flower needs to stand out a bit more. I like the idea of this unlikely juxtaposition. |

Actually, this is not my favorite image of yours. In the original, more of the peony rose is pick; I'm not sure darkening the bottom works, and I think the colors are over saturated, losing the delicacy of the original. Also, I'm not sure that the rectangular shape of the blossom is appealing. |
