My wife pointed out that the only clue to its being in NJ is the handrails. I rather like the bifurcated nature of the image, & don't think it's flat. The sky as is is magical. |

Love these leaves. Especially the top two groups of leaves may be a bit hot. If you clone out (Generative Fill to the rescue) the part of the bottom leave overlapping the middle one I think it would be better. |

Beautiful image. I tried to crop it from the left, but I could not download the new image for whatever reason. Anyway, I think it would be better cropped from the left to just after the penultimate post. |

A really beautiful image. On weakness for me is that the center does not hold interest. If you increase the saturation of the yellow that would make it pop more (even if that is not true to the original colors). |

Many, many thanks. I've been too busy shooting tulips (and busy with other things) to work up the courage to try this. But I do plan to do so soon. Will let you know the results. |

I always find your cutting out of flowers from the background & pasting them on new backgrounds amazing. Do you give lessons on how you do this?
One flaw for me is the brightness of the front blue petal. My eye keeps going back there. Kathleen Clemons said that the eye is drawn to most contrasty part of the image. So, not only is it the brightest, but it has the most contrast. |

The yellow rose is quite pretty & worth being cut from the background. The problem with LR selection is that it can look "pasted on" the background. PS's selection tool is much better at preserving the softness of the edge. I need to learn how to paste a selection on the background in PS. |

It is a beautiful Lily, and the zoom background mostly works. What I find most distracting is the red on the right merging with the flower. I don't know what you could do about this. Also the double yellow at the bottom is distracting; Generative Fill might take care of that very nicely. |

I rather like the drop off of focus in the green strip. Matter of taste. What I often do is stack at a low f stop, and just process those images to the point that I want in focus. The tulip came fresh out of our tulip patch. My wife plants tulips every year for use in her still lifes (direct URL: https://www.timepointsphotography.com/p679078513)
For the color of the background, what do you think of my reply to Ingrid? |

Seeing colors was never my forte. How do you like this? |
