I love the image. I'm wondering if it could use just a litte more pop. A little lighter trees? Darker sky? Topaz Silver Effects 7?

Love the image. Would a closer crop work better?? |

Did you try Topaz sharpening? At any event, I really like the image with this crop. |

I began by cropping the image. Then twisting the various tone curves. Then I go down to effects -- and the fun begins with vignetting. Then just go back & forth amongst all sliders, back to effects, and then back to slider -- they work in a very strange way. Again, when I get something I like, I make a virtual copy -- and keep going. If I would begin with this image again, I could never come up with this transformation -- but I would come up with others! 200 is a few more virtuals then usual. I will post some other images from this set. |

This is the original -- bark of a tropical tree at Longwood. It doesn't take quite as long as you might think. As soon as I make a change that I like or is different, I make a virtual copy & go on from there. |

Wonderful transformation. My wife suggested cropping the top & darkening the left top. I rather like it. |

Very wonderful, striking image. My only suggestion is to maybe eliminate the blossom at top cut by the stem & crop down. |

Beautiful composition. And soothing. Still, I would like to see just a bit more pop. A background a bit darker? Keeping the vibrancy of the buds would help. |

Nice rose. The composition for me does not work well. I think it needs more at the top, especially since the rose is pointing up. Nice job with the colors & light. |

I love the center of the image. The outer "swirls" are too dark for my taste. What do you think of this? I croped, brought up the shadows, with the color mixer lightened the formerly dark plaxces a little more |

The purple mature ones are about 1 & a half inches in diameter. The white ones grow slowly, and do not develop color until they are about an inch. The bees love them. |
