I like the leaf. Agree with comments about not showing the top. Also, I think the image would be more successful on the diagonal. I like the blurred leaves in the background; wouldn't mind seeing more. Always experiment -- how would this leaf look if I backed up & got more of it? |

Love the image. I do like it better with the sky darkened. I might experiment with opening up the shadows in the grasses just a bit, but I do like it the way it is. |

Really beautiful. Could the background be more pink? Are the back petals of the center more in focus than the front? Can't quite tell. I love the effect of the side lighting, and that there are no blobs coming towards you. |

Great colors. I would also crop a bit from the left, but maybe be a bit less than Donna. I think the colorful trees need to be better in focus. I would not mind if the trees were in focus and the mountains a bit soft. |

Nice capture. It would be great to see the original. The blurred stuff is perhaps too bright; with the reflection, it may be the brightest thing. I also might blur it a bit more. |

Here it is. Standing on the side, not top, of the Building Museum.

Beautiful image & edit. I too would make it off center be cropping just beyond the bud. Then try flipping it horizontally -- it's often better if the empty space is on the left -- the eye goes into the image & stops at the subject. |

I love the bright center of the flower. In addition to trying to clone out the bud, I would brighten the dark shadows in the clematis. |

Very pretty iris. Nice job of taming the background. I might darken the background a bit more & brighten at least the dark places in the iris so it pops more. |

Thanks. Actually, the color of the vignette comes from the flower. In Nik Color Effects Pro -- Vignette Filter you can choose the color from the flower. Kathleen recommends a color between the least & most intense, but I rather like the darker, warmer vignette. I had to take none off the center; the vignette never got to the center. |

I know I couldn't come close to this. I prefer the Original 2. The softness of this adds to the surrealistic feeling; the posted one is far to harsh for my tastes. Also, I would lose (as Kathleen Clenons says) the inner border -- I think it distracts -- and crop closer. VERY interesting image. I hope you don't mind my playing with it -- it was a lot of fun. |
