Since the background is black, how would one add a different color background? The shape is so convoluted, I would think it impossible to cut out. |

Beautiful flower, beautifully shot. This version puts more emphasis on the flower, and not the long stem. To expand the canvas, just go to PS, the crop tool, make sure the content aware box is checked at top, then expand the canvas. One does have to be careful of repeats -- in the top of this version, there are repeats that would have to be dealt with in PS. |

I love the B & W & the angle of the flowers. Very effective moving the right flower on the left one. I think you could have included more of the top flower -- to me it looks cut off. |

Nice place to shoot the Washington Monument from. If the monument were moved to the left (probably better anyway than in the center) you could have included the whole fountain. Do you have Lightroom? In very little time, this is what I came up with. |

Very interesting shot. You could have stopped much down more since you were at 1/250 sec. Be careful not to back focus. The pedal behind the center is in focus. I made the same mistake in the class I just took with Kathleen Clemons. It took me a while to really believe her, but it really is important to have what is closest to you in focus. |

Fabulous!! What was the Creativity Workshop you took? This image makes me want to get an iPad (I still use a flip phone). |
