I rather like the original image without the person. Perhaps including the detritus would make it more interesting. But I like the meditative quality of the originally submitted image. |

Great shot. I vote for the centered square image. It really focuses attention on that wonderful leaf. |

Nice shot. I really need to learn how to do things like you did in Photoshop. Where to focus is often a problem. I think it would have been better to have the center in focus. The stem does not need to be in focus -- that's not the main interest. You might even blur the stem and with a graduated filter make the bottom fade. Also, I would place it in the middle; there seems no reason to have more on top and the right. I love shooting degenerate tulips, too. |

Great view! I like the composition of the last 2 shots better -- though I think you might consider a quasi-pano crop -- cropping a little sky from the top & the triangle from the bottom. When you focus, do you focus on the trees? Yes, Sharpen AI has saved many pictures for me (including this month's offering) but it's always best to shoot it in focus. |

Actually, while very dramatic and interesting, the effect is not my favorite. The only thing in focus is the foreground which is not the most interesting part of the image. If the splashing waves had been in focus, I think I would like the mage much more. |

Great image. I like the off white better than the white background. |
