Harriet - This is an interesting subject. I would like a closer look. There is so much texture on the hive I'd like to be able to explore the ridges and "roads" with my eyes. Getting closer to a hornet's nest is rarely a great idea, but a zoom lens or a crop in would help out. |

Carroll - Everything works here. The contrast of colors between the fisher's shirt and their boat's shade and the green of the water. The contrast between the light of the net and the dark of the water. The reflection of net in the water and the ripples from the boat that add texture. I can't suggest one thing that would make this better. |

Marcela - I like this composition and how the edges are in shadow so that I can focus on the flower. My favorite parts are the drop of water clinging between the petals and the detail of the right petal. |

Stan - I like how the background is not sharp so that we can focus on the majesty of the moose. The composition works for me and I don't think any cropping is needed. I don't mind the reeds and sticks at the top at all. They give my eye a lead out after I view the moose. |

Norm - If I had seen this outside, I may have mistook it for a bee. I like the contrast of color between the gold of the moth and the purple flower it is on. Its body is super sharp. You've got a bit of what I think is called fringing(?) around the edges of the flowers, maybe an effect of processing. This is a very strongly composed image. Great job! |

John - I like the texture here. The moth's wings remind me of paper and the veins and ridges of the leaves make for an interesting background. |
