I love the colors and light in this photo. The blues and orange play well against each other. The car lights remind me of lava flow. The white from the escaping steam and fog(?) above the crater add great interest. |

I like the lighter spots in the background, Marcela. It lets me know the photo was taken outside and not setup. The water drops add a lot of interest and and your composition is great. |

I love this image, Norm. What an amazing difference between the original and your final. I don't have Topaz but would like to try it. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the inspiration.
The colors in your abstract are very appealing and go well with each other.
You've got a big crop from the original. I think that works since you have more detail and more contrast between the colors. |

I like the story here, Stan. It looks like people relaxing and enjoying each other's company. I like how the waitress is watching, semi-patiently.
I don't mind the crouching photographer, but wonder how the feel of this would change if you cropped so just the left archway showed. There's not a lot going on at the right side, but it does add some balance to the photo and the green area, some color contrast. |

Nice job, Harriet. I like what you did with the black and white conversion and cropping. Your subject is fun and it's great that the eyes and in focus and looking right at me. I like the composition as well and how you left some room to the left, right and top. |

I like the composition of this and also the colors. Very soothing. And, the picture is interesting to me because it makes me wonder what's going on. Did the tide go out, is the boat getting ready to go in, or is the water behind you? It's very upright so maybe in drydock getting some repairs. No matter what the story is, the photo is a good one. Nice eye. The sun on the boat setting off the blueness of its paint and the more subtle blue in the sky with the soft clouds. I can't think of anything that would make this better.
