Wow! This if a fun image to explore. The water radiating out beneath the baskets, the drips coming down from the crop, the line of green that brings me to the back of the image and then back to the left to find the farmer again, and then of course, the reflection of the farmer in the water.
I think the photo would work without the reflection as well, but am so glad you left it in. |

Norm - This tells a great story. I think making everything but the main subject monochrome was a great idea. It adds a bit of timelessness to it. |

Stan - I agree with Carroll about the people. They add interest, give scale and make me think more about the photo. The reflections in the puddles are good and I also like how the orange of the bricks is balanced out with some blue/green of the lights. |

Beatrice looks like she's a good mouser and also can appreciate a good nap in the sun. I love how her fur catches the light of the sun. The changes in Snapseed brought out some texture in her fur, I think, which is good. Great cropping as well. |

John - I like the monochrome conversion and think it works well for this stormy time at the coast. Are you able to get any further detail in the clouds? |
