Strange how I didn't really see the camera (bar) on the upper left (not right). It does balance the photo better, thank you for the suggestion. |

Interesting, and I would love to see the orchids too! I guess they are reflected in the water. I notice a blue streak in the upper right corner, and I'd suggest you remove it. There is also some brown decayed reflection on the left third that is distracting. This is a very peaceful scene. |

It took me a moment to see the arrow sign. Is this a road or water? I wish the sign were larger, but I can't see how you would do that or crop differently. I agree it is funny. |

Lovely action shot. A photographer friend of mine was there and said it is chancy to get bird photos due to frequent fog. You apparently have a clear day. I really like the unusual tilt of the bird that shows us his speed and action. Very nicely done. |

What a great street photography shot! I love his expression and he is perfectly sharp. The bus window makes a natural frame. I would consider cropping in from the right side since you can still tell it is a bus and there is a lack of information there. |

Having visited Keukenhof twice, I balked at the word "random"! Everything there is so planned into patterns. This looks like cherry blossoms coming out of the tree. I would suggest that you lighten the dark concave streak behind the flower a bit to increase the texture of the moss in there. |

Your story is making me curious about the buildings behind the trees. This image is dark; perhaps the mood matches the history of the place. |

Definitely picture worthy, some people can't see that. I am wondering if the subject here is the shack or the landscape? Something to play with is trying a portrait of the shack with the leading lines of the lighter trees coming down to it. |

I agree with Debbie, and would add that the tones could be lightened more with contrast. I wish my husband understood more about retail therapy! |

On a recent photography workshop in Costa Rica, a photographer kept commenting that she wanted to shoot laundry. I asked why, and she said that it was because you can learn so much about the people and culture from their laundry. That got me thinking! (There was a lot more to shoot in Costa Rica...)
Anyway, the muted tones of the socks are a little strange; and I wonder about their cuffs -maybe because this was a display of plastic socks? What would your own laundry look like? This might be a good monochrome image, have you tried that? |

Very impressive underwater shot. I'm not sure why the original looks sharper than the processed? |

Very creative and delicious editing. I am at a loss for words since I don't have the same phone. I think the person image my eye caught as well, and I wondered if you saw it too? |

What a lovely macro shot! Although I like Karl's version for color, I think it is a maker's choice. If you want high impact from the color, your version is fine. I think your question about the wings is not a great concern; they look transparent to me. Maybe the space between the wings could be darkened and that might help? Spring is coming! |

Thank you Judith for your kind words. I worried about the "busy - ness" of the image, but I think that is what these birds are all about. |
