I would suggest more saturation and color; it could be brighter. Clearly you were having fun, and this technique really works with Christmas lights. |

You are correct it is gloomy! Usually I would suggest not cutting the tree in half, but this image works for Halloween or dismal days. I am so looking forward to Spring! |

You caught an interesting set of girls; their "head scarves" are not correctly wrapped so I am guessing these are American protestors. Nice catch, sharp and I agree with Brad about the bright window aove the red part of the flag being distracting. I guess that is the question with street photography: how much do you process? |

Beautiful shot. I've never seen one before; and the feathers on its legs are unusual. Well done? |

This appears to be taken through the windshield of a car? I'm not sure why I think it gives me a sense of moving. Looks pretty icy too! Your post processing brought out more details i the trees and sky. Nice work. |

There is a twinkle in that dog's eye, he is really enjoying the jump. Nice lighting. ditto to what Becca said about the distracting elements. You have a sharp image that has the correct technical settings. |

Debbie, here is the original. I had to size it small to put it in here. |

What a beautiful walk this must have been a lovely day. Great trees, leading lines, and a sense of time with the lightposts. I really like the shadows of the trees on the path. I'm not sure I would have guessed this was in Thailand. It looks like an English formal garden! |

How fun for me to see Helsinki through your eyes! At first I thought this was a ship hull. How creative is the architecture. I like your perspective and the figures walking by give me an idea of scale. Your vignette is a bit too dark on the lower corners, can you "feather" them out so that it is not so noticeable? Nice shot! |

Nice detail. The old barn tells a story. Were you in the Palouse? I am glad you cropped the foreground, and am impressed with the details of vegetation that came out in IR. Interesting sky - how did you convert this to black and white, and what process did you use? |

Stuart, this is a good example of what happens in IR with a forest of trees and light. I am distracted by the dark stump in the middle of the photo. Is the crop because it is taken with a cell phone? |

Oooh. I like the leading lines in this! Very nice control of tones too. Why is the fence on the left darker than the one on the right? |

Very eerie. Good choice to use monochrome. I would suggest going into Transform in Lightroom and straightening it, the bottom could be cropped more so you don't have the black. I wouldn't understand it was from a car until you explained. Fun shot. |

Hi Judith, this is focus stacked, and I didn't light it but it was not yet planted in my garden; so I guess the light is from the light above my dining room table. The flowers behind it are part of the plant; they tend to grow like a clump together. I processed the image in LR, and then in Topaz photo AI. I will think about toning down the background exposure. Thanks! |
