Thanks, I think cropping more of the cloud might work. |

Sorry I don't use a ring light. BTW, some cameras you can set the "differential" which is the distance between shots - so you would have a shorter distance for a flower and longer distance for a tree. |

I have that Olympus lens, and an Olympus camera. I think you are correct that the filter caused the stripes, I've never had that issues with the lens. Check out Zerene Stacker for focus stacking. You will find less issues if you use a tripod, even with gear that has great stablilization. |

I totally agree with Stephen. I have been to the Masai Mara, and you need the context of the trees and wares to identify the location.
I also think the woman's face in the front, and perhaps the two in the back need some more light to capture their expressions.
My daughter was in the Peace Corps in Kenya, and she spoke Swahili. She quickly taught us to bargain with them, which is expected - and that was really fun - especially when my blond hair blue eyed daughter entered the negotiations!

Beautiful image! Ilove the colors and purple tones that you captured in the sunset. The trees have a nice leading line to the sky, so then the leaves are just the right amount of foreground.
I think if you do get snow, and can get back to the same spot, make a triptych of Fall, Winter and Spring. |

Interesting macro. Our camera club, Puget Sound Camera Club, we had Rik Littlefield, the maker of Zerene Stacker speak on focus stacking. His website is here: https://www.sullivanjphotography.com/macro-photo-chat-live-show/macro-live-chat-show-30-rik-littlefield/
and he has posted several very helpful videos on macro work and focus stacking
This is a fun image, because of the hoar frost, and also because you would want to guess what it is. It is shapr, and since there are no shadows, a good job stacking. How many images did you stack? |

My goodness, the title is correct! Isn't she cute. I thought anime not goth, since I thought goth was dark colors? Anyway right down to the nose ring you have her sharp. I just noticed her pointed ear on the right. When replacing the background, I think the masking of her hair has some blurring on the right side. Can you show us the original? I wonder if buildings might also be interesting if they were blurred? |

Very fun image, and i would not have know it was a toy unless you told me. How creative! Nice boca in the background and sharp! I like the way he is looking up, those googly eyes say it all. |

Wow, you certainly captured the feel of New Years Celebration! Where were you? This reminds me of the mass telephone use that happens at weddings (unless you specifically announce not to do this). Nice lighting, fun capture, ushering in 2019! |

Thank you everyone for your feedback, fun playing with this image and comments. I appreciate them very much. I am using this image to enter into a gallery at at retirement home in south Seattle; it has already generated stories from members of my camera club, and it is also entered into the PSA PID digital competition. I might play around with it for some other entries in art shows. You are all very supportive, thanks! |

Thanks Karl, I like this. Did you start with my original, or were you colorizing my monodchrome? |

Freddie, as a matter of fact the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs will be having a gallery exhibition in a four story retirement home. I have several other similar subjects, and I am working on a series. |
