thanks everyone. Henry and I are at the Colorado Springs PSA Conference. We have been on 3 field trips so far and are collecting lots of clouds and mist near Pikes Peak. Anyone else here? |

Hi Renee, the main subject are the clouds. The photo is titled Ring Toss because it looks to me like the clouds are forming a ring to toss on the cactus post. Thanks for the suggestion to shorten the foreground, I agree. |

Hmmm...Debbie, I think that might be a good idea to dodge and burn. I will give that a try! sorry to hear you will not be leading the group.

Thank you. I didn't crop the sky down because I would lose the triangle on the building on the right. How would you crop it? |

Wow, this one worked! The bold colors do dance through the night, and this is impressive motion and good technique. I am guessing a pixel stick is a light stick of some sort? |

You aim for one thing, and hit another, but unless you tell us, we use our own interpretation for fine art. There is motion, beautiful color ad shapes with shadows visible here. I don't think nature is trapped here, it is caught and flowing under the vines. Cool. |

What a beautiful perspective and leading lines! Very well balanced it feels three dimensional. Nice tip, about the wedding preset - our daughter's wedding is Nov. 8. She is hiring a photographer, but we will end up editing photos, I am sure. Chubby manatees...did you get those portraits for the wedding? |

I love the curves in this image, the delicacy of the flower that you achieved with your techniques! I am not sure I like the black specks on the background or the distressed vignetting. Have you tried a different color tone, like green? Was the flower originally white and black? |

I see a memory of a snowstorm! Or maybe a peek through a frosty window outside to the branch of a tree. I can also see a man or Groot formed by the vertical branches on the left, walking away while carrying the tree through the storm. |
