27 May 22 Reply I would suggest that you go back to one of the layers and get the information on the tops of the trees. They look like black clumps. May 10th
27 May 22 Reply How did you convert it to mono? I think that the black on the trees could be lightened for more information and look less clumpy - Silver Efex Pro is what I use, but there are other programs. I still like it better in monochrome. May 9th
27 May 22 Comment Lovely hike, and only 1000 steps for this photo! Have you tried it in monochrome? May 8th
27 May 22 Comment Your sky is blooming when the tree is not blooming! Definitely a fantasy photo, I am curious how you got the texture in the sky? Where did you find this texture layer, is it part of a program, your own shot, or purchased? It looks like petals, which is consistent with the fantasy. I think you might try masking the background trees before applying the sky since the trees are tinged at the tops with a stripe of darker pink; perhaps the sky not the trees should be pink? May 8th
27 May 22 Comment Never heard of redbuds, but I like the delicate ambience that you have captured in this shot. Beautiful pink wine and the flowers pick up the tone. White is very hard to photograph without blowing out the tones, and I don't know how you got the bushes beyond the deck posts to be white?

27 May 22 Comment I would like to see the monochrome of this shot, I don't think the green and brown help much; my bet is that the shapes of the trees would come out even more interesting in monochrome. May 8th
27 May 22 Comment Wonderful pink capture. Even more amazing it isn't focus stacked? Your flowers are sharp, and have a nice gaussian blur in the background. Groups of three are always pleasing. I have been encouraged to pay more attention to the colors of the background of flower shots, and this is nicely green. I think you could crop a bit more on the left since the centers of the blurred flowers are bright and an a bit distracting. Lovely photo. May 8th
27 May 22 Comment Wow. You captured so well this historical moment, and I admire your dedication to be getting it at 3:57 in the morning! Well worth it though. I could care less about the trailing in the stars which is likely from jealous critics. This is simply beautiful, worthy of competition and framing. This should be on the front page! May 8th

35 May 22 Comment This is the entire building. You get an idea of how HUGE this cathedral is when people are below it. May 21st
35 May 22 Reply thanks for the helpful suggestions!! May 21st
35 May 22 Reply I will try to post the original, I think the problem is the size won't allow for more of the cathedral in the restrictions of this format. May 21st
35 May 22 Comment Yes, I think the IR brings out the detail of every hair on that tiger. I like your Original 2 position as well. I wonder why the white around the face? Is there another tiger next to him? This is a very unique photo, and makes me wonder what other zoo animals in infrared would look like. I will have to try it out! Very inspiring. May 8th
35 May 22 Comment This has nice leading S shape lines, made more clear from the white of infrared. I am enjoying the tree in the curve and the entire scene. Good choice in adding the clouds, and well done they look natural. May 8th
35 May 22 Comment Manet must have used a wide brush. I am not sure this works to get the surf smashing because surf has its own unique shape and doesn't cover the entire scene as your texture does. I think if you masked the rocks, which are very interesting shapes, you might get more of the effect you wanted. Also mask the sky. I like what the water is doing with the texture and beach. May 8th
35 May 22 Comment This old store has character, and you have a good eye to find it. The range of tones is good, but I would like to see more out of the darkest black on the roof and front window. Maybe try a dodge and burn layer to see what is in there. I can see that there are a few items in the windows, so the most black tones are obscuring them - and I am curious what they are! May 8th
35 May 22 Comment I have never heard of Mountain Mahogany, but what a beautiful tree. Infrared has brought out the detail and the shadow. I also like the sky color, I assume from your swap. Good choice. I would suggest taking out the other trees on the right side to focus the viewer on the main subject. Nice detail from the infrared. May 8th

79 May 22 Comment Very cool. The dancers movement has been captured repetitive times and makes them look like ghosts. I really like the gold and red tones of their costumes that make them glow. May 8th
79 May 22 Comment A unique crop - it makes me think of lips with lipstick. Wet lips I guess. Although my first impression of the green was a lizard coming to attack the pink. Very fun. May 8th
