My camera club agreed there was the face of a dog in the bubble. There were no dogs around at the time of the image, it is just weird. |

The only song that piano plays is infrared. I do play and sing though! Probably why this is such a significant shot for me.

Very nice balance in composition. I know it is hay, but we just dealt with snow in Seattle, and it looks like ice and snow to me, although on closer inspection those are rolls of hay you see in fields. I like the choice of swapping the red and blue, although the original could be a nice sunset photo too. Why f4.5? Did you want the detail in the foreground hay?
I am not fond of false frame lines. I think they distract from the subjects in the photo. |

Wow, this looks like a restored photo! compared to the original image you have brought out the background contrast and details overall. The original looks out of focus, and your post processing has sharped the car and details. Did you use HDR to get the car window clear to see inside? Looks like the photographer was the warrior here, bringing out the photo! |

Also, a friend asked me if it would work to use his freezer. I don't think so...but I wonder what his wife will think as he is trying to photograph in a freezer...LOL...

The bubble was about 1.5 inches. The color didn't last long. I think the difference between the two bubbles was the bubble solution. The later ones we used a 10:1 bubble concentrate that we mixed at 7 parts water to 1 part bubble solution, which is stronger than what the concentrate calls for. It has to be a concentrate. You also have to have at least 20 degrees below. I am having so much fun with what people see in these bubbles! Thanks Judith. Last night my photo club saw a dog in the other one!! |

Thanks. I posted another bubble in group 27, it was further in the experiment with frozen crystals. I wish we were in Florida now that the mountain passes are closed and Seattle turned to icy frozen slush. I suppose you could try something in an ice rink! |

Hi Karl, what a great card! Usually I like textures and monochrome, but I really like the color version of this better than the monochrome. The color adds pizazz. What do I mean by pizazz? Impact. What a great symbol of intersection, relationship. I guess I'd hope that the relationships had color more than just black and white. OK, maybe I can't explain it. Excellent work on masking and layering. The bottom of the tine on the left fork is dark, and looks strange. It needs "polishing"! Have you seen the jewelry made from silver forks and spoons?? Google it! |

Very cool abstract based on a real scene, so you have created the abstract from the light and darks, it makes it look 3 dimensional. My eye keeps travelling and finding new angles. I also appreciate the intensity of the change in yellow and the high contrast. |

Very cool translucent image. The stem of the flower seems too thin, was it thicker in reality? I wonder how big was the original flower? |

Hi Peter, I agree the helicopter needs to be in there, but you need to make it less sharp. It would not be so clear in the midst of all that cloud cover, and it is sharper than the atatue of liberty. Wonderful colors! |

Judith this is marvelous. I have to admit that I also like the original. With all of your processing, you have two pieces of art. I like the sense of movement, the intertwining of colors and leaves. My mind takes the shapes and I see a bird, its neck bending down like a swan, or perhaps it is a dancer. How fun! |
