Interesting, it looks like a volcano! Nice work bringing up the foreground information and allowing for context. Is that a small lake or pond in the middle right? If you look long enough at the sun in this photo, I can see the shape of a dog's head or wolf. Very interesting natural effect of the fog and sunrise. |

I think you have captured a moment of his personality with his natural smile and fists in the air, illustrating something said. Actually, in American Sign Language he is starting the sign for "strength" which seems so appropriate! What a great shot, I like the natural setting and light. |

She looks like a fairy, and has wonderful facial bone structure. I think the highlights of the white in the photo need to be toned down, they are too bright. Perhaps blurring them would also help. A nice unique composition, I like the green frame and wonder if the blur of leaves on the right could be balanced with the sharpness on the left. Why is there a blue spot on the left eye level in the photo?

Sweet little ladybug has a nice symbiotic red with the flower. Part of the flower is out of focus, but that brings the eye to the bug which is sharp enough to see the legs. At first I thought that the orange ?buds were the bug, my eye searched for it then found the ladybug. I would consider taking out those two long blurry parts of the flower as they are distracting. |

This is a very fun catch and a great memory maker for you as these are unique to the place and time. They are very sharp, and well-focused. I like the texture of the wood bench as a contrast to the stones. Very fun designs too, I really like the bright colors, and the snail. |

Hey Peter and Karl, this is an interesting discussion on different ways to process rainbows! Clearly it is a matter of taste. Peter, the tree was natuarally there, although I did sharpen it. I think I your tree better than mine, but I like my clouds. Karl, your version is too dark for me because I like the idea of the rainbow lighting up the gold of the grasses on the prarie. Each to his own taste, thanks for the feedback, I can learn from both!!

Nicely done! You timed this so well to capture the ring and the drop pedestal. This is an interesting art that requires a dark room, equipment and more patience than I could possibly have to capture. Thank you for sharing how you did it. Kudos to your success! |

Wow what a great composite! The sense of motion is retained in all three combinations, resulting in a liquid presentation that tells a story. I am curious how you kept the images transparent? Why is it easier with the app Image Blender? |

Wow, I hope you heal well from back surgery. This is a wonderful rose, and represents July for me. Red is a difficult color to shoot, I would try toning it down with shadow highlights to try to get some separation in the petals. I really like the blur of contrasting greens and tones in your background, although I would consider removing the other red on the left only because it is on the outside edge and draws the eye. |

Very beautiful impressionistic photo. I like the variations of color and the consistent sense of motion in the flower. Great that you followed your sense of "letting the image tell me what to do". How fun!

Um...Barbie looks like she is undergoing acupuncture...ouch. I would suggest that you swap the layers so that the face is on top of the flower, not vice-versa. You could do this by dragging and dropping the layers in PS to reverse them. That way she is the center of the flower. Perhaps you thought that the flower was coming out of her, but I see those as needles going in...just a sense of perspective. You are right about the background blending well into nice colors! |
