Danny, what an interesting sounding trip! How long was your shutter open? Over 20 seconds and the stars will start to blur. I am wondering if you lost a few of those stars when processing it to turn blue? Can you post the original?

Very nice, groups of three are also artistic. I gather from your last name that Dutch might be involved, and tulips are a big deal. They are for our family! Some tulips will bloom late in Spring, so you were lucky. They are a bit bright, maybe you could tone them down. I think the red is a nice touch, maybe more Gaussian blur on them so they are the background would be good. Lovely composition and presentation. |

You have captured a moment that is so emotional! Congratulations Grandma! I think Dad's face might be a bit lighter. What a nice parallel to see both faces together. So fun to compare how they might look alike! I love being a grandma, and what Mom doesn't appreciate the care that this Dad is showing. Keep 'em doing those diapers! |

Very well controlled range of tones. I really like the choice of monochrome. |

Oh please, are those bubbles? Stop giggling! I appreciate the idea above. I think I would not keep the softness below the lamb stepping out - it is a harsh environment. They just blend in with the rock, which probably protects them. |

Wow. I live in the Pacific NW and have never seen one of these. They are quite majestic, I like the patterns on the wings. Great shot. It is interesting how people can be biased due to their experiences with creatures. I gather these are annoying and destructive. |

I debated about that tree. If it wasn't a Milky Way shot you could crop it to a portrait of the rocks on the right; however your subject is the sky and I think the mountains are enough. Taking out the tree would open up the view of the sky. I love Bryce. |

Hey Carl, check out the class on Infrared by Derrick Story. He is the infrared guru and the class lets you into a community of people shooting infrared. Just google his name. |

I would highly recommend Life Pixel or Kohlari to do the camera conversion. Their price is reasonable. I am also happy with a workshop instructor and Infrared class by Derrick Story. Just google his name. He is starting an infrared shooting community where you can get feedback from the class, somewhat like this only on infrared. I'm also looking into the PSA infrared groups. |

The trees were not really orange. That is a result of the IR and processing. |

I highly recommend an IR workshop online by Derrick Story. He has created a community of IR shooters, and a forum to post online photos of both monochrome and color IR. I have more to come of monochrome conversions too. |
