27 Nov 20 Reply Hi Jan,
The elk came from the same picture. His color is as natural as you can get - it was taken in early morning light. The only thing I did was flip him - make him going left to right instead of right to left. People in western countries read left to right and it feels more natural.

79 Nov 20 Comment Wow, I am impressed with the image and the work that went into it! I am not sure I have ever seen such a striking light drawing! What is a whip tool? Clearly I need to look into some of those brushes. Very mysterious angel! Nov 9th
79 Nov 20 Comment This works very well as the essence of a cultural triptych and sharing a story. I really like the tones of pink and green, they reflect the color of her hair. The way that you made the border ties it together. The only thing that bothers me is that she picked up the teacup that would have been closer to the friend? Nov 9th
79 Nov 20 Comment Using zoom like this is very tricky. I think that the large white rose puts the palette of colors off balance, and so I would suggest starting the zoom not in the center of the bouquet but on the pink of the right side. This is fun and I wonder if more of the flower shapes could have been replicated in the zoom? Nov 9th
79 Nov 20 Comment What a great way to turn a rivulet into a canyon. The figure helps encourage that transition and is a good idea. Your eye is led across the image in an S shape. I don't know what I would have commented on had I not had your explanation, but it does cause the imagination to kick in. The sand has become trees with your effect! Nov 9th
79 Nov 20 Comment What a great way to capture some history. As a teacher old schoolhouses also fascinate me. Texture, texture, texture in this image! I like the light and colors too. Nov 9th
