Thank you all for your feedback particularly about cropping. I think that I like Jon's crop example. This is particularly a tricky image to print since the reds are mixed into the browns, and I have struggled to get it correctly printed at home. It was an unbelievably gorgeous sky!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, and may you all experience the beauty of God's Light this season, Lauren |

This is an interesting shot with patterns and reflections. You are right, it is busy. It is also vertically slightly crooked. You could snap a line in Lightroom or it might also be keystoning. I think the reason it seems busy is at first look it doesn't look like glass then my mind thinks, aha, those are reflections. I wonder if the pillars were darkened a bit then the idea might make the reflections pop more. |

HI Karl,
Good point about the top left, I will consider taking that out. I did show the flowers as they really are. There is very little increased saturation, that is close to the original color.
Wishing you the best of holidays,
Lauren |

Love the colors and hologram! What is a pixel stick? I know how to light paint, but I'm not familiar with that. Very fun. Happy Holidays to you too!

I think you have the perfect blur for the colors and patterns in this image. It gives the sensation of movement of the waves, and you have captured nicely the angle and pattern. I have never seen this area, but what gorgeous tones of blue contrasted to the yellow sand. Very well done. |

I like the contrast here and monochrome was a good choice. There is strong texture in the sand and dirt on the shoes. It is a good expression of identity to focus on the shoes. I am distracted by the plastic white box in the corner, what is it? |

What a fun idea for a New Year photo! Lovely colors and tones coming out from the pull of your camera lens combined with the tree and gold. It reminds me of the Victrola or Gramophone horn - the classic one with the dog leaning his ear to it. So it is like you have captured sound waves here, and ringing in the New Year! |
