Hi Agnes, given the muted colors in the original image, I totally agree that converting it to monochromatic is better, though you prefers color as you have said before. Then there are 2 triangles and the sky, it looks simple but this is the wild antarctica. |

My first impression is the back of an beetle, i,e. the wings. But then after reading your narrative I get the feeling of a Sci-fi, as others have suggested. Very imaginative. |

I think converting it to a B&W image is compelling, so that we look at the forms, texture, tonality and lines. In this image, the positions and the shape of the flamingos create some kind of a rhythm for us to appreciate. I don't mind the headless birds because this is the posture when they sleep. Well done. |

I agree that using the fisheye lens is a good choice for this ararchitecture image. The triangle formed by the pillars looks lovely and the checkerboard floor adds another element of interest. Although I like the black and white image, the green carpet in the original image stands out from the rest and making it quite unique. |

Hi Mervyn, I think your revised version has made a lot of difference from the original image. By eliminating the horizontal road, it looks more appealing and unified. I like the yellow colored plants in the foreground and the variations of green in the mid ground and background. |

Both versions look appealing, though I like the original image which appears more surreal. The golden seaweeds contrast lovely with the blue water. The curves of the seaweeds are interesting and attractive. |

Many thanks. This image was taken in a country park, with surrounding environment. I crop it to leave only the monkeys in the frame. |
