Hi Kirsti, you have certainly selected the right image. It is more creative and beautiful. I think the hazziness and the vignette contribute a lot to the impact of the photo. As Bob said, seeing more of the singer's face makes it a more successful photo. |

I agree with others that the colors are attractive. I am not too bordered by the number 40 though there is ambiguity to include the 39 and 40 in the image. Besides the colors, the texture of the various components like the wall, the chair, and the window also contributes to the impact of the photo. |

This image displays different shapes of the building blocks like the sphere, rectangle, triangle and double helix, which are excellent elements for a great B&W photo. Well taken! |

To my eyes the original image is more powerful and compelling as it is acceptable that graffiti can have exaggerated colors and content. I think the street musician and the graffiti complement each other. |

The photo is interesting. It shows the steam engine, which may eventually becomes a display item in museum, yet a distinguish symbol of the old industrial revolution. Taking into account that it is a documentary-type of image, I do not mind the lamp at the left. I like the steam because it gives the impression that the engine is still working. |

The repeated pattern of the lamps are pleasing to the eyes. The fact that they are arranged in lines displaying a well balanced symmetry are attractive. Well done. |
