Strong use of silhouette and color creates mood and a clear sense of motion. The layered sky provides depth and effective negative space. A slight crop from the bottom or increased separation between birds and clouds could further strengthen balance and subject clarity. Overall, a well-seen and atmospheric image. |

Outstanding image. Definitely a wide range of tones from maximum black to brilliant white. My only suggestion is to add a slight vignette to complete the process |

I'm going to stir the pot a bit. I like the overall idea and composition but the vertical mast of the sailboat sticks out like a sore thumb. Crop it out and bring harmony back into the universe. |

WOW! That yellow umbrella makes this picture. The fact that the subject was looking out and away adds to the whole story. What a perfect opportunity captured. |

Hey Gary, my initial thought was why didn't you correct the perspective? The overall image is very impressive. It's very sharp and well executed. Your choice of camera location works really great. Would you consider using the AI features of Lightroom or Photoshop to remove the people? I used the perspective control feature of Lightroom Mobile where I control two vertical lines for the perspective. |

I was just luck. As they say, "Even a blind squirrel will find an acorn." As Erik would have said, "I had a digital climax." lol. |

What a fun picture. One can sit and stare pondering which one to pick. |

I like the composition of the two characters and the way the shadows flow on the pavement. I would like to see the cyclist closest to the camera brighter. The one major issue that I have is that bright sky in the upper left corner of the image. I cropped the image to emphasize the left cyclist, selected the subject and lighted it up and added a vignette to darken the edges slightly. The bright area of the sky was greatly reduced and overall impact increased |

These are the types of subjects that are fun to work with. The controls on the iPhone and Lightroom Mobile are almost limitless. Just for fun I added some punch to the colors, added blur to the background and added some negative vignette to the edges. |

Great catch. The monochrome technique was a great idea. I would like to see one key selected and slightly modified by using masking. Also an added vignette would help pull the viewers attention in towards the center of the image. |
