As we see by everyone's comments there are a lot of variations on the smoke theme. I have found that simple exercises like this are great stress relief and good for the soul. Your process and post techniques have worked well. |

What a terrific action shot it's got great composition, color, exposure and is tack sharp. Since the rider is the obvious center of action and the rodeo attendant is the primary observer, I would crop this as a vertical image for a stronger composition. I added a slight edge darkening too. |

You were lucky to get all the cows attention. I personally think this would be a great panorama by cropping most of the sky and slightly on both sides. This ain't no bull either. |

An outstanding composition. As others have mentioned the juxtaposition of the statue and the background. I would like to see this as a black and white image. I would also try to open up the shadows on the statue. I could see several variations in NIK Silver Efex. |

That's a terrific shot. Being an old film shooter I love good black and white pictures. This one is outstanding. I might consider cropping above the foreground highlight. It has the tendency to pull my eye away from the main subject, the empty table. Great eye Amigo. |

Been there, done that. I've never been disappointed at the Venice Rookery. The trick is to get a good view of the parents and offspring. You did a good job. |
