4 Jul 22 Comment There's an old expression, Luck = Opportunity + Preparation. You did good. The technology in today's cameras has opened up so many opportunities for us photographers. Oh, I could suggest cropping the image to concentrate the viewers attention on the bird but there is a story in this scene. Nicely done. Jul 6th

4 Jul 22 Comment I found that I needed to study this image in order to get the full impact of the waves on the rocks. I honestly wonder how a very long exposure would have rendered this scene. The black and white doesn't excite me. Jul 6th
4 Jul 22 Comment I could see where the color image would be problematic with the magenta color cast on the sides. The black and white if perfect with a good overall range of tones. The vertical lines are straight and there's no distortion. Jul 6th
4 Jul 22 Reply The Picnic app is a free iPhone app that offers a variety of effects. It's not up to the level of accuracy of Photoshop or other plugin filters. It will also impart a color shift on the entire image. The average person ( non-photographer) won't notice how accurate the masks are. Jul 5th

44 Jul 22 Comment I too am finding that old images are getting new life with the advancements in software and AI. I've never been able to have any clouds in my morning shots at the barns. Very nicely done and well worth the added work. Jul 7th
