Very nice tranquil scene that looks inviting. I like the way the roadway and shoreline have a gentle curve leading your eye into the scene. A slight crop and added intensity to the sky may help. I also tried the Auto setting in Camera Raw Filter to add some pop to the buildings. |

Excellent capture. Dr. Buchanan is in Cropping Mode today. I thought the foreground was overpowering. Also, the bright yellows were a visual distraction. I cropped some of the bottom and applied a gradient mask and darkened the reflection. I also selected the bright yellow area above the gators tail and brought it down somewhat. I also tried the Luminance mask in Camera Raw Filter, selected the gators back and darkened that range slightly. |

I too used NIK Silver Efex. I used the classic contrast 003. However, my preference way to have the tower lean to the right. I had to use content aware fill to do it. |

I guess I'm just crop happy. Having the subject centered doesn't bother be. Your capture is flawless. It's tack sharp and well exposed. I cropped the image, Right and Left, putting both birds on the 1/3 crosshairs. Another habit I have been doing is opening my images in Camera Raw Filter and selecting the Auto button. Many times, it performs a slight tweak to the image. In this case the blue water was enhanced slightly. I also added a bit of vignette darkening. |

The Alligator Farm is a terrific place to shoot birds. I did that a few years ago. Although this image has a good story, the added bird in the background creates some visual confusion. Your image is sharp, and the colors are well rendered. |

A terrific mood shot. The location of the moon adds to the scene. Without it, the image is just a record shot. I may consider cropping just above the out of focus piling in the foreground. |

Gary, I liked the color balance on the trees but I'm not fond of the added contrast.
Thanks |

I like how the foreground was rendered in HDR. I'm not excited about the clouds. |

Fortunately the foreground saves the image. The lack of color in the canyon walls doesn't help. Would a different time of day possibly help? The overall process is okay. I would crop the top 10% to eliminate that eye catcher bright area. |

Terrific composition. The overall rendering has been well handled. I would suggest a slight vignette to darken the edges. I too thought that the greens were too intense. |

Interesting technique. Couldn't you have stacked the images in Photoshop for the final alignment? I'm not familiar with that technique. I find it interesting that you were able to capture the stars. |
