It came through on my monitor as a light brown. I'm calibrated too. I did it before the last PSA Portfolios assessment one week ago. I was also working with Erik on his white sand picture to eliminate the grey sand. Strange. I also viewed on my iPhone and it looks brown. |

Excellent photography under difficult conditions. I've learned that red is a difficult color to work with digitally but you handled it well. My only negative comment would be a tighter crop reducing some on the left side and from the top. |

As we discussed today on the telephone the white sand does appear somewhat muddy. I hope my quick tutorial will help with the brightness scale of this and similar images.
I do believe the extra grasses on the left are not needed. I would prefer less grass to draw attention on the subjects. |

WOW! Great shot. Great action shot that's tack sharp. I wouldn't change anything. |

A sad commentary on today. I wonder if the woman in the background was communicating with these two? Your exposure looks good however I wonder if the contrast could be reduced slightly. |

I can't imagine a Miami guy being out in the snow. It's too bad the Northern Lights didn't cooperate that night. The illuminated tent adds interest to your scene. My only negative comment is the brown snow. |

Yo have a good eye for seeing the flow of the curved lines in this image. My initial reaction to this image was it needs to be a vertical. I see others have the same opinion. I feel it needs some added pop in contrast. |

Thank you. After I submitted my image to Joe I realized that there was no shadow under the car. I'm working on it. |

What a terrific image. I love the angle of the tub and the balance of the two smaller elements in the image. The subtle vignette really makes this image pop. I would consider toning down the brightness of the stove and the log in the background. I also used NIK Viveza to adjust the structure and saturation of the tub. |

A great subject however the lighting isn't working for you. The shadows need to be opened up and needs some contrast. You might consider cranking up the contrast or perhaps one of the "Grunge" presets with your HDR program. |

A very colorful image with good human interest value. The color and exposure look good. I would be tempted to crop the group of tourist off and let the young lady stand alone viewing the scene. |

A beautiful interior shot. Your process has worked well and the blend of light sources looks good. My only concern is my curiosity wants to know what's off to the left side of the stair. |

I love to monochromatic concept. The small touch of sun rays tops it off. |

Your work paid off. I like the overall tonal value and how that stream leads your eye out of the foreground up to the bright area. |
