4 Apr 19 Comment What a great shooting opportunity. I like everything about this image. The only thing I may question is the overall exposure. Perhaps a half a stop over exposed. Out of curiosity I took the image into Photoshop and applied the "Auto" in PS RAW. The exposure was reduced by .11, the highlights were cut back and shadows opened up which helps the black skirt. I also applied some vignetting in RAW which darkens the blue wings somewhat drawing your attention to the model. Apr 27th
4 Apr 19 Comment I like the composition and the technique. As others have noted the distracting wires should be removed. One thing that I did notice is there appears to be some clipping of the highlights. Some areas of the palm tree look blown out. Something to remember in the future would be to use a polarizing filter. I keep mine of almost all the time when outdoors. As you know me I can't resist tweaking any image. I straightened the vertical lines for perspective, enhanced the image for white clipping, reduced exposure by a half stop, removed some of the yellow out of the greens and darkened the edges. 4 Apr 19 Comment A great moment in time. The first thing I noticed was the fact that the runner is frozen in mid air without his feet touching the ground. Perhaps a slight crop on the left would reduce some of the background. I also wonder of a Luminocity mask could have been used to isolate the runner and barken the background more. Apr 27th
4 Apr 19 Comment A very strong composition. The bold Black and White qualities make this an interesting capture. I note that someone else has noticed the merger of the light pole and the support cables. I would like to see just a bit more of the structure under the bridge, (visually more of the structure). That may have added to the story in lieu of leaving the viewer guessing. Apr 27th
4 Apr 19 Comment If it wasn't for Smartphones the rest of us wouldn't have any fun. I like the basic concept of the image but would crop out the distraction in the upper left corner. This reminds me of the time I was trying to photograph the capitol dome in Boston, MA. There was an oriental girl going through all sorts of gyrations trying to take a selfie. I finally asked her politely to please allow me to photograph the dome. Apr 27th
4 Apr 19 Comment I like the casual arrangement of the dogs. The one dog out of place breaks the pattern. Apr 27th

44 Apr 19 Comment Excellent composition and viewpoint. Your whites are clean and pure. The foreground shadows look realistic too. The only thing I might add is a very slight vignette in Photoshop. Also, if you're using PS CC try the Auto feature in Camera RAW. There's a very subtle change in the image. See the attached. Apr 27th
44 Apr 19 Comment A nice find. Personally I would like to see more of the side of the truck. There may be some added interest with a slightly different angle of view. There was one thing that immediately caught my eye, that was the highlight on the fender. I almost always keep a polarizing filter on my camera when shooting outside. In the case of this old truck it would have increased the color saturation and reduced or eliminated the highlight on the fender. Apr 27th
44 Apr 19 Comment The strong colors on the tiger are okay. Perhaps a bit too much. I would prefer a tighter crop to reduce or eliminate some of the out of focus foreground. Apr 27th
44 Apr 19 Comment One of my favorite lighthouses to photograph. The sun flair doesn't bother me. The slow shutter speed works well on the crashing waves. Personally I may have tried for added contrast on the structures. And yes, I would take out the power poles and lines. Apr 27th
44 Apr 19 Comment A fun image. We need to do that on occasion to relive the stress in our lives. Being somewhat of a Saturation guy, I would like to see some added saturation to those beautiful trees. A little tweak of the Dehaze would help make them pop too. Apr 27th
44 Apr 19 Comment A beautiful image with outstanding realism. The clouds are the picture and almost seen three dimensional. Apr 27th
