Kudos on your exhibition. Your portrait has been well done. The Butterfly Lighting works well. You have sufficient detail in the costume and hat. A difficult task when photographing black. My only negative comment would be to make a vertical crop and eliminate the negative space on the left and right. Well done. |

Great capture. The dogs are very sharp and in a good position. You and I may have discussed this image prior to submission and I'm still of the opinion that the flowers in the foreground are a distraction. I question either a tighter crop on the bottom or some selective darkening of that area. |

Carnivals and fairs can be challenging to photograph and the conditions are never ideal. You did a good job with this composition. Your clean up efforts worked well. I would be tempted to push the Clarity or Dehaze sliders just for fun. |

What a great view. Your image is sharp throughout. Having a Fisheye lens is always a plus in any photographers bag. I do find my eye drawn into the darker areas of the stair and away from the lighter areas of the left. I would try to do some selective darkening of those areas. Just my opinion. |

Everything works well in this image. The colors are outstanding. Everything is tack sharp as it should be. I may be inclined to crop a bit tighter. |

The S curve lead in line works well. I may have tried a vertical shot with a longer lens to compress the perspective. I would also crop the haze in the background and darken the path. |

Isaac, when I flipped the image I decreased the opacity of the reflection. I also stretched the water of the original to give enough room for the overlay. So I think the combination of opacity reduction and blurred water gives the appearance of a slight blur. |

Hi Tom, I have been working on a program that Erik Rosengren presented to a group in Louisiana this past spring. I got his permission to use the show at my local club. It's basically about "Seeing Pictures" and it also deals with simple cropping to enhance the story compositionally. I would like your permission to use your before and after image in this presentation (with credits) |

Great capture. Your techniques worked well. The clouds appear natural and I do like the added foreground grass/brush to anchor the image and give it depth. My one thought would be to try and do some local adjustment to the area of the rain and bright areas to the right to make it pop, just a bit. |

Nice capture and I hope you were able to take may photographs of this relic. The trailer is something that you don't normally see and it adds to the scene. The color combination of blues and greens worked. I would like to see some added pop to the colors. |

Nice color and treatment of the house. I'm in disagreement on the composition. I would crop off the bright trees on the left side and add some vignetting to darken the edges to pull your attention into the scene. I think it also puts the gate in a stronger and inviting position. I also reduced the exposure just a tad to help the color saturation. |

An interesting find. I like the composition and your work to keep all horizontal and vertical lines true. The boxes towards the top appear somewhat bright and pull my eye up there. I'd like to see that toned down or reduce the overall exposure allowing those areas to be properly exposed and letting the surrounding boxes go darker. |

Oh if those walls could talk. The HDR blend was well done. At times when viewing an HDR image I tend to look out the window to see if a full range has been captured. In this case the interest and detail of the subject holds my attention. I find the splash of color in the foreground as being the magnet for my eye. I wish we could see more of it. |
