Outstanding image and great color. I hope you took many pictures here because I see many. I really like the bright area on the left side. It is in balance with the dark areas of the right side. My only nit would be to clone out the two black lines in the foreground. |

My first reaction in viewing the image was why horizontal? Personally, anytime the subject has upward movement, I believe it should be a vertical crop. The colors are true and accurate and the lighting enhances the overall scene. My only objection is the softness of the left wing. As ususal, good overall job. |

Your image almost appears monochromatic. The colors go well together. The road being centered in the image does not bother me. My eye wants to travel down that road and explore the scene. One minor suggestion would be to add just a bit of edge darkening to the scene. |

An interesting landscape. The people and the building in the image provide a great sense of scale. I might crop the one white building on the left. In my opinion it's somewhat of a distraction. |

A pleasing combination of colors. The bell tower acts as a strong anchor for the image and allows my eye to travel to the background. I really want to see more of the background. |

Years ago our club had Freemen as a guest speaker. He does evoke ones creativity. I found myself photographing a small crystal whale from various angles. This image has too much information. I would prefer a closer view and isolate of a smaller area. |

David, I used a Canon 7D with a Canon 24-105 @35mm. Aperture Priority, f8 @1/15 second (Hand Held) ISO 200. It was actually the mid image of an automatic three exposure HDR image. (My Canon 7D is set up to automatically shoot a three shot bracket when needed) I was also in the comfort of our mini van so I had my arms braced on the van too. All of my processing was done entirely in Lightroom. This shot was made in our condo complex and the building at the left was so small and insignificant it didn't bother me. To me, the center of interest is the three evergreens and the trees in the background are secondary. This image can be interpreted as a monochrome or color since there is a faint hint of green in the evergreens. I have debated cropping some off the top of the image to tighten up the composition. |
